The Papers.
At Greyscales, we exclusively print on Hahnemuhle fine art & photographic papers.
A world leader in the production of photographic and fine art papers for giclee prints, Hahnemuhle papers are typically of such a high standard that they conform to museum standards for the highest age resistance, and are expected to last at least 200 years before any fading should become noticeable, providing the prints are displayed or stored in normal conditions.
The Inks.
Combining the Hahnemuhle papers with Canon Lucia II pigment inks ensures not just beautiful prints to be proud of, but also a long lasting photograph that is less susceptible to abrasion - perfect for prints that will be framed or handled prior to display.
The Giclee Print.
The highest grade of fine art photographic reproductions. The ink and the paper combined produce what is termed a giclee print - one of the highest quality prints available to those wishing to create a lasting memory, prepare for an exhibition, or sell limited edition prints. We can print up to 44 inches on the narrow side, and almost unlimited lengths.
