Greyscales is a printing studio specialising in expertly produced, colour and black and white giclee photographs that will last a lifetime.

The Greyscales team has over thirty years experience of photographic printing, acquiring darkroom printing skills in the 1990's whilst working as press photographers, later moving into magazine and commercial photographic printing, whilst embracing the world of digital printing. 

Our experience of producing prints for exhibitions together with our knowledge of camera and printer capabilities, means that we are well placed to facilitate prints to meet the most exacting requirements having worked alongside demanding clients including the BBC, the Financial Times, National Geographic, Sunday Telegraph and Virgin in the past. We can produce prints suitable for home and business display as well as limited edition exhibition quality prints that meet museum archival standards.

The prints are professionally produced using world class Hahnemühle papers in a selection of finishes and Lucia II Canon archival pigments inks. This combination will preserve your giclee photographic prints for at least two hundred years. Images can be printed in almost any size, and we can arrange custom size printing if not listed on the website.

If required, we can also edit your images or perform slight retouching to remove blemishes, improve tones, reduce grain and the like. If you prefer, we can do this with you, or we can do it for you, preparing test prints as required.

Prints can be ordered directly from the website and will typically be with you in a couple of days. International orders may take a few days longer. Alternatively, we can manage printing for photographic collections, preparing orders on demand.
